How to Take Membership
- Apply with complete details of self, premises, hardware, and business plan using the attached data sheet.
- After receiving the application, there will be a personal interview with the Director of AIST.
- A team may visit the proposed centre if needed.
Eligibility Criteria for AIST Study Centre
- Must be involved in IT-related business or be a professional with entrepreneurial acumen.
- Should be willing to invest in infrastructure and manpower.
- Commitment to providing quality education and training.
- Agreement to AIST’s terms and procedures.
Expectations from the Affiliated Study Centre
- Prime location with class rooms, lab, reception, proper lighting, and ventilation.
- Block/sub-block centres should maintain clean surroundings.
- Should provide access to computers, printers, tools, and software.
- Maintain a well-equipped library and subscribed periodicals for students.
Hardware Requirements
- One Pentium server node as per AIST specifications.
- Hardware with internet compatibility.
- Printer (Dot Matrix/Inkjet).
- UPS (500 VA) or Generator.
- Air Conditioning Unit (C. Unit).
Manpower Requirements
- Administrator/Manager: Knowledge of computer software, training, and strong management skills.
- Faculty: Thorough subject knowledge, discipline, and ability to solve student problems.
- Counsellor/Receptionist: Pleasant personality, good communication skills, and knowledge of computer courses.
- Marketing Executive: Experienced, hardworking, and good at communicating computer course benefits.
- Office Boys: Disciplined and experienced.
